review 1: Connelly's Mickey Haller has a rough go in this Lincoln Lawyer tale. Is this the next Mickey Haller movie? It's maybe a little more complex with several story-lines, and yet somehow it seemed maybe a little more predictable. . . to a point. There are a couple of minor plot twists that'll hurt Lincoln Lawyer fans. (Painful.) But, that adds a little gritty realism. All in all, it didn't disappoint me (well, except that Mickey didn't get elected lead DA), and I look forward to the next installment.
review 2: Language. Mickey Haller is a lawyer and his office is the back seat of this Lincoln Town Car. He gets a call to represent a man accused of murdering one of Haller's former clients, a prostitute who he tried to help. Not only does he need to defend his client... more but his personal desire is to find out what really happened to Gloria -the murder victim - how that explains the current case. Good story of corruption and greed. less
