review 1: This book has gotten me back into reading.. I love to read but something inside me has broken and for the longest time, I couldn't get myself to read past a few sentences of whatever book I pick up.I don't know if I'm all the way whole or if I'll ever be again but I am grateful to have been able to once more escape into a book so beautifully written, it has taken me out of misery if only for a brief but wonderful moment.
review 2: I gave this book 3stars. When I first read about the plot, 2 thieves getting themselves in trouble, it intrigued me. But it wasn't what I expected. It never fullfilled my expectations. I wish there was more character development. I didn't really care about the characters. I did not like how the events unfold. Typical greedy uncle trie... mores to steal the crown, all the villians are stupid and the good guys' plan goes exactly as they want it to. It was just predictable. If at some point in my life, I felt I had nothing better to read, maybe I'll read the next books. But I don't think that will ever happen. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't outstanding. less
