review 1: I picked this up at Dollar Tree yesterday. Guess I liked it, I am done already! An interesting update of the Sherlock stories set in 2011 and includes nods to Moriarty, 221b Baker Street and Sherlock himself. And a little bit of a nod to "Letters to Juliet" LOL. This was the second in the series and there was a bit of "referring back" to that previous case that was done here. I would definitely read more.
review 2: After a fit of pigheaded probity lost him his girlfriend, fortune, and good name, Reggie Heath is desperate to rebuild his London law practice. An attractive solicitor brings him a case that strikes close to home, so Reggie decides to defend a cabbie accused of murder even though he hasn't handled a criminal case in years. Simultaneously, the
... more usual Sherlock Holmes fan mail he receives due to his address takes on a sinister slant when Moriarty strikes up a correspondence. Another quick-paced, rather predictable mystery, but this one achieves a much better balance between the brothers than the first book: Nigel is more present, and Reggie is more bearable. less
