Baker Street Letters
review 1: Fans of all-things Sherlock will enjoy the Baker Street mystery series. The premise - a law firm at 221B Baker Street still receives letters addressed to Sherlock Holmes and is required by the lease to reply to all of them. A descendent of Moriarty, Holmes' arch-enemy, returns to seek revenge in this outing. The fine line between the fictional stories and the confusion starting over a century ago about whether Sherlock Holmes existed or not, with some believing that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as literary agent to the real Dr. Watson, is explained. This is a series best read in order. Start with 'The Baker Street Letters' (2009)
review 2: Reggie is concentrating on his engagement to Laura, but as usual the letters addressed to Sherlock Holmes interrupt, because his
... moreBaker Street office comes with the provision that he take care of "Holmes'" correspondence. This time, it's just a display of old letters at a hotel grand re-opening. What no one knows, though, is that more than a century ago, a desperate undercover man tried to avert his death by telling his captors that he was a character in the Holmes' stories. If this sounds twisty, you haven't read the first three books in this series, which you should do to understand the whole premise. less
