review 1: It really shouldn't surprise me that I enjoyed this one more than Big Hand for the Doctor as I adore Michael Scott. I just thought this was a tighter story that stayed closer to character than the first short story did. I haven't watched very much of the early Doctor Who stuff but the first story just seemed so out of character. Loved seeing Jamie and hearing a bit about a mysterious character that hates the Doctor. I can't imagine who that would be! It was a lot of fun.

... morece, I would have enjoyed seeing the Doctor meet Nicolas Flamel. After reading the first two releases of the 50th Anniversary series I'm not looking forward to the rest of the books as I was before. Originally, I had high hopes that J.K. Rowling would write for one of the Doctors but now it doesn't really matter. Each story is between 40 and 70 pages and the author can't really tell much of a story in their own style in that short of time and in a fandom they aren't that familiar with. For fans of Doctor Who this is only an ok story. less

Way too short, but a thoroughly enjoyable story about the second Doctor and Jamie.

Doctor Who meets H.P. Lovecraft! What could be better? I loved it.

A little too much Lovecraftian for a doctor story.
