review 1: I did like this little (and I repeat...LITTLE) novella a lot and it make me want to re-read the series again. I liked how Michael Scott made this in the perspective of William of York instead of 3rd person or otherwise. I think that it might have been interesting it this had three different parts: one narrated by Joan of Arc, another by Scathach, and the third by William of York...still, I did like it. Not sure if it is something that I will end up reading again anytime soon...
review 2: Love the Nicholas Flamel series and so I thought I'd pick this up! So much fun! I love short stories and this one was a perfect quick read. I was so excited to watch some of my favorite characters in action. The book is a perfect blend of action, mystery, and character s... moretudy. To anyone who might start the series, read this first to get a flavor of Michael Scott's writing style. It won't disappoint! less
