review 1: bookaday #57. Funny and informative look at everything presidential: history, job duties, residence, and retirement. Talking animals and assorted other things add comic relief, like the milk shake interlude during a long chapter, or the list of presidents riding dinosaurs! Serious notes are included (nuclear bomb responsibilities) and an inspirational section on civic duty encouraging young readers to take the time to become thoughtful and informed voters, prepared and ready to take part in the American privilege of voting. Graphic novel format will lighten the large amount of the content of this book, wish some of the text was larger and easier to read.
review 2: This book is more fun that a "barrel full of ninja hamsters". A great book for reluctant reade
... morers or kids who think Spongebob is the elite definition of humor. Much more of a government and citizenship lesson than a history book, which is absolutely okay with me. I didn't even get a proper lesson about the United States government until I was a senior in high school, so start them young! Also there are illustrations of all the presidents riding on dinosaurs which makes it worth the while. less

Hilarious and educational. Have and will continue to send to the elementary-aged kids in my life.
