review 1: What a great math book FILLED with tons of lessons. I like that this book can be used for a few grade levels when reviewing math concepts. It covers number sentences, counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's, addition, subtraction, multiplication, estimation, division, shapes, pictographs, and more.It presents strategies on how to solve problems and shows amazing real life, in dinosaur land, examples of word problems. What an awesome book for review!
review 2: This is an amazing book that uses an engaging story to talk about using math in the everyday world. T-Math started adding from the day he hatched out of his egg, counting his fingers and toes. I would love to use this book in my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes to introduce new concepts of math. The book starts of w... moreith simple addition but T-math keeps challenging himself with harder problems throughout the book. All of the differnent math concepts are listed on the last page of the book. This would be a good story to read as a hook for each new math unit. less
