review 1: Almost the entirety of the Oath Breaker comes to revenge, and in the end Torak earns another important lesson about prioritizing and friendship. Again, like the previous books in the series, the problem I have with the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness is that the fights between Torak and the Soul-Eaters are not epic enough. The final confrontation scenes in the series have always been short-lived and lack the feeling that it's a fight between two powerful forces of good and evil; up until now the most epic fight scene, I think, is the one at the end of the second book. Still, the story is well-written and engaging enough, and has some clear morals like the series always has had. I'm moving on to the last book, and I look forward to an epic fight scene and conclusion to Torak... more's journey.
review 2: Masih berkisah tentang perseteruan Torak dengan Pemangsa Arwah. Kali ini Torak harus berhadapan dengan Dukun kaum Ek, Thiazzi, salah satu pemangsa arwah yang terkenal paling kuat di Hutan Dalam. Pengejaran Torak dipenuhi dengan hasrat membalas dendam karena si Thiazzi telah membunuh Bale, sahabat Torak. Janjinya untuk membunuh Thiazzi membuat karakter Torak di seri Oath Breaker ini seringkali menjengkelkan dan berakibat fatal, seperti yang menimpa Finn Keddin dan Renn.
