review 1: It is a fair equal to the previous book.One thing that made the book better - Dimitri Markov. Though I have an issue with the love story, I enjoy it quite a lot. In my mind Dimitri is a mixture of The Darkling from The Grisha Trilogy and Marco from The Night Circus, characters very dear to my heart.It is more about travelling and romance but I enjoyed it quite a lot.3.5/4 stars.
review 2: After reading the Prophecy of the Sisters, the first book in the series, I immediately bought and read the sequel. And I’m happy to tell you that the sequel wasn’t a let-down! It was a very good follow-up.The narration of the second book is still Lia. I thought maybe the author would switch it up. But, no it's still Lia. Lia is learning more about the prophecy and how to e... morend it. Even though I liked the narration of Lia, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a lot of Alice in the book. I would have loved to read more about her, especially how she is dealing with the prophecy. All of the other characters are great. Especially Dimitri. He was super protective, strong and very mysterious. The story is written very well and it has more action in it than the first book. So hooray for that! Also a lot more romance. The dialogue between Dimitri and Lia is adorable! The story suprised me big time. The last couple of chapters were page-turners and were super fast paced. I loved it! I cannot wait to read the last book in the series. I have high hopes for it and I have my fingers crossed that there will be lots and lots more pages filled with Alice. I highly recommend Prophecy of the Sisters! less
