Cleopatra in Space
review 1: Cleopatra in Space is a very exciting book. Cleopatra is in a dark room when she finds a weird looking tablet so she starts pressing all sorts if buttons. All of a sudden she is transported to the future. The far future. An ancient scroll says that she is a savior. Cleopatra then enrolls to Yasiro Academy. She meets someone named Akila who happens to be her roommate. Cleopatra also finds out that she is very talented at laser shooting(combat training). The book was fantastic. This book is a graphic novel that made me feel like I was in the book with Cleopatra. If you like graphic novels than this is the book for you.
review 2: Cleopatra in Space: Target Practice by Mike MaihackScholastic Graphix, 2014Science Fiction/Graphic Novel172 pagesRecommended for grade
... mores 3-6When young queen Cleopatra gets transported to the future she discovers that she is a prophecy the people-and cats-have been waiting for. Oddly, Cleopatra is not bothered at all by finding herself far from home and all she knows. Cleo is enrolled in classes, despising all but the courses involving fighting/shooting.The cover alludes to a bit more action than the book delivered. As book one, there is certainly an open ending to build on with future volumes. A little bit Astronaut Academy, a little bit Silver Six, kids will enjoy it. less
