review 1: I really, really wanted to like this and was so excited when I found out MJ Rose had written what I believed to be a th book in the Reincarnationist series.This book is actually a stand alone novel... And I wish I could say it was everything I hoped it would be and more..l but I couldn't get past the first 50 pages. I even tried skipping ahead to see if I could find something a few hundred pages in that would make it worthwhile for me to keep reading.... Sadly, nope.
review 2: I was really excited about this book. The writing is good, and there were some quotes that I really enjoyed reading, and even highlighted :) I'm not sure why it fell somewhat short of my expectations, though. I really liked when the storyline would switch back to past lives, but towards t... morehe end of the book, it was kind of losing my attention. And then there were so many different story lines trying to merge together, and once they finally did, I was left thinking, "That's it?" I don't know, I guess I would recommend this book, but it wouldn't be one of my top choices. less
