review 1: Big Frog Can't Fit In is a pop-up book that was written by the one and only Mo Willems. This book is about a frog who is just too big to fit in the book like that rest of his frog friends. Desperate to get the frog to fit in the book, his friends and him try all kinds of strategies. Finally, they figure out a solution to Big Frog's "big" problem. This book is very entertaining and engaging with all the pop-ups. It is also an excellent choice if problem solving is something you might want to discuss with the children that particular day.
review 2: I'm a pretty big fan of Mo Willems and pop-up books, so to have a Mo Willems pop-up book is like a hot fudge sundae with a cherry on top.Big Frog just doesn’t fit in. Maybe shorter legs or a more bendable spine would... more help her feel more at home with all the other frogs. But Big Frog soon learns that the best of friends don’t expect you to fit into their lives—they make room in their lives for you.One of the best things about this book was that it was written as a pop-up book. They didn't just take a story and make it interactive to interest people. Instead the plot itself necessitates a pop-up medium. Big Frog might not fit in this book, but every Mo Willems fan needs to make room in their library for this larger-than-life book. less
