review 1: Another wonderful Willems book that kept both my 5 yr old and twin 3 yr olds fascinated. Not enough words to be even a reading level 1 book, Willems still has a way about him to bring the reader into his wonderful world. These books are ones my whole family loves. And a fellow friend on GR recently told me that the pigeon was hidden in each book and we now love to look for him too! Fun for all and a great addition to any children's library!
review 2: Elephants Cannot Dance is a great book for K - 1st grade because it uses a very small vocabulary and simplistic storyline. I really loved that the book was so funny. I think it will easily draw students in and keep them interested in the story. This story consists of two characters, a pig and elephant. The pig ... moretries to teach the elephant how to dance but he cannot seem to grasp the steps and becomes very discouraged. Each page has very little words which will be easy to read for young students and also a goof read a loud book. I rated this book with 4 stars because I think it is a very good learning book for students that are learning to read. less
