review 1: This tale tells of the little girl growing up. The girl goes on a plane to visit her grandparents and manages to leave Knuffle Bunny behind. There is no way to find KB but the girl tries to make the most of her holiday with her relatives. She then has a great dream about KB cheering other people up. Then when she finds KB again, she realizes she is now old enough to give KB up to someone else who needs her more.This book came at a crucial point I our daughters life when I have just given get a lot of toys that I had when I was little. It really hit home to her and she is now preparing to play with them in the knowledge that if she looks after them, I will hold onto them when she is grown up and pass them onto her children. She is quite fascinated by the ... moreidea.
review 2: First let me say Mo Willems is a genius! I do children's programs at a public library and all of my story time families were well aware that a new Knuffle Bunny book was coming out. I ALWAYS read books before I read them at Story time but in this case I saved it to read with my Family Story time families. Wow! This was such a great end to the Knuffle Bunny series. So much depth. So for storytime I read the first book, the second and then this last one. Even I teared up at the end but it was sheer and utter picture book perfection. The kids all wanted me to read it again and so I did. We compared how Trixie had grown, how this book referred back to the others. It was a perfect moment in a Library Ladies career.Thank you Mo! less
