review 1: this is a story of Fable's little brotha (thought he's not little anymore. he's 18 on this novel) little story when he met a smart but shy chelsea. totally smart girl to be honest, coz she's tutoring owen so he could pass English test and back to football team. yup, he's on football bcoz he's admiring drew. yep admit it owen.EH, I love owen. on some scene. not the scene when he's confused with the fact that he's still care (for nothing) to his mom--I want to kick his fucking ass everytime he's so... weak, so baby boy around his mom. a little time when he's 'normal' and chatting with chelsea and explain that Fword is ah-my-zing, it could be add as adverb, noun, and what again? damn I forgot.so... umm, what should I say? it's a little similar with the love story of drew and ... morefable. both of them facing a hard past and together they facing it. oh, I should add that because the meeting and the fact their relationship grow stronger then the past revealed and voila! conflict! they are hating each other (worse for owen bcoz he's, sadly, couldn't move on--or at least hard to move on) and at the verrrrryyy end yay! they realize that they're needing each other. ohok ohok ohok... *choking* umm, even oven stop weeding and smoking (right huh?) for chelsea. oh chelsea, so typical.look, im not saying it's bad. actually if you are searching for a having-trouble-both-characters- kind of book, this would be perfect! and oh if you need some patient male character too, it would be awesome. but for you searching for twist or strong women or complicated conflict (and not about facing family trouble) kind of.... this book would beBORING!
review 2: This was by far the worst of the Drew+Fable quartet. All because the unsufferable characters, especially the main lead. Owen was an annoying brat in the previous novels, but in this one he is all grown up, and has become a big loser whining jerk. Poor Chelsea is less annoying, in fact, she would be almost sympathetic except for the fact the she falls for the big loser! When the inevitable conflict arises and she dumps his ass, I was almost hoping the novel would end there... you can do better, girl. Isn't it a bad sign for a book when you find yourself rooting against the main character? less
