review 1: This book was fantastic, absolutely 5-stars. It's a bit old for my typical "age" books I think, and I don't typically enjoy this type of books but I loved 'The Writing on my Forehead'.The story surprised me a bit actually, though you could tell there were details that were missing for a reason and I actually really loved the way it ended. I really loved the writing style which made the story all the more captivating and easy to read.I loved this book. Really great story and a fantastic read!
review 2: One of the best books i have read! The story line is about different cultures living in modern society nowadays, about generations and family secrets, acceptance and forgiveness. I saw the constant fight through the generations whenever someone decide to go agains... moret what its called "common" path for teenagers - getting married before or after 20. And i realized that actually those who come from strictly cultured family they have to work on much further to achieve any simple things that for western culture seems within the norm of growing up such as having independence or taking your own responsibilities, joining after-school social clubs/societies. When someone is taking a path to become what they feel they want to be not what they family stresses them to be.And more, there are more to find in the book.But the book is beautifully written with its absolutely wonderful language and sentences, that you will feel sorry when either you have to put book aside or when you have finished the story. less
