review 1: Having no previous knowledge of presentations other than the phrase "it's like a good story" probably doesn't give this rating much credibility.BUT- if you also know nothing about presentations and/or have a keen interest in storytelling then I think you'll find a great deal of "wow" within these pages. It's a dense read and several points are made in detailed graphic form which can get wearying over time, but if you can overlook those issues (which for some would be strengths) then I'd say take a stab at this book and you'll be a better communicator for it.I personally would recommend this book for those in sales (I found it insightful when thinking through how to market my novel) and also for entrepreneurs. Who knows how many opportunities we've been missing out on becau... morese we haven't been developing our skills at oral communication?
review 2: The book is very much of best practices in shaping the idea you want to deliver in a nice, engaging way. The audience is always the hero, no matter what you do, you should always deliver to the audience as they are the core element that determine your success or failure. Always go with a message that guide the audience to do the actions you want them to do. Very interesting, yet entertaining book. less
