review 1: I am wildly in love with These Is My Words and was not so wildly in love with its two sequels, but my hopes rose high for a new story from Ms. Turner. I kind of wish I hadn't connected this book with her, because it gave me soaring expectations because I loved These Is My Words SO much. Standing alone, it is an excellent read, and it was very fun to read about a story taking place essentially in my own backyard...but Cullah felt very one-dimensional and their relationship was just not all that convincing after Jack and Sarah. If I hadn't hoped for that, it would have been a much more satisfying book. That said, it was still good.
