review 1: Great easy read. Sometimes those are nice. I really liked the book itself; as it is similar in a way to Beaches the movie. The only thing I kind of found tacky, was how the two best friends fell for the same guy and also slept with him. One only truly had his baby though. And even though the guy married the woman that didn't have his baby, states he would do his duty but didn't love her. And the best friend never tells the other the truth of the baby's father. He at the time thought he loved someone else. And before he dies he is dating a woman similar in looks to his wife's friend. So does this mean that maybe he wasin love with his wife's best friend?
review 2: Overall I enjoyed this book. I found the ending a little bit to hard to believe. Emily, I really
... more didn't like her. She's a girl who has it all. Rich family, great friends, beautiful child, husband. Maggie, was a person who was true to herself and who deserved to be happy. She was a good friend and was nice to pretty much everyone. Unlike Emily who was just out to get what she could for herself. I would recommend this to others. A great beach or snowy day read! less

Good casual read. Not my favorite ever, but still a quick, interesting book.
