review 1: The Pepto-Bismol pink cover makes this look like breezy chick-lit but it's much, much more than that. It's more like Stargirl without the ukelele and glitter.Jonah is Ghost Boy and Bea is Robot Girl, two high school seniors who form a deep, loving bond that's more than friendship but never looks like it's headed toward romance. Their quirky, offbeat personalities help to hide their unhappy family lives--she's got a mother who's losing her mind, and he's grieving for the dead twin he lost so long ago. The author captures perfectly life at the end of high school as Jonah and Bea alternate between the deadly serious stuff of real life and the goofy antics of a childhood that's soon to be left behind. I hated that this book had to end.
review 2: This book is one of
... more the BEST books I've ever read. It was perfect! Beatrice Szabo is the new girl and she ends up befriending the mysterious Jonah Tate. Together they will go on a roller coaster of adventures. they will have their ups and downs, but in the end will their friendship last?Ughhhh!!!!!!This books was perfect. All my emotions were jumbled up and I just, my heart was broken when I finished this book! I mean my friends had to take the book away from me because it was so great. less
