review 1: A 14 year old boy named Anthony lives in New York were his family owns a restaurant. In school, he meets a boy named Gunnar who has a medical condition. The doctors told Gunnar that he only had 9 more months to live. Then Anthony wanted to help Gunnar so he decided to give a month of his life to him. After he did that, many kids wanted to do the same and donate a month of their lives too. Gunnar’s sister thought Anthony did such a kind thing so she kissed him. When the donated months became a big deal, the school decided to hold a rally for Gunnar, which many people came to. During the rally they only needed 2 more years to have 50 years donated to Gunnar, but no one wanted to give any more months of their lives. As people continued to refuse, Anthony’s dad decided to ... moregive 2 years of his life to Gunnar. As he donated this time, he had a heart attack but no one knows if he will survive. “Antsy does time” is about bravery, acceptance and compassion.
