review 1: This is one of those rare series that starts out good, continues to be good, and has a good ending. I've read so many trilogies that have a great first and second book and then have a terrible ending. Shusterman created a fantastic universe and set up the characters in Everlost, which could have been a stand alone book. Then, in Everwild he took that universe and expanded it in a way that blew my mind. I generally don't like the third/ final book in any series, but Everfound was my favorite book in the series. Even though when it was over I still wanted more, I accept that it had to end at some point, and it was an acceptable place to end
review 2: Most amazing twisted triology of monsters, lucky coins, chocolate and love. It's a story about finding your purpos
... moree even in the afterworld. Everlost is a place only children go when they die. It's between earth and heaven. How ever you die is how you will stay for eternity. So if you die while eating a candy bar, the chocolate might just stay permanently smudged across your face. Everlost is ruled by an ogre-ish monster called the McGill and his enemy is the Sky Witch. With Shusterman's twists and turns in his clever writing, you'll stay on the edge of your seat. Try it. You won't be sorry. less
