review 1: This whole series is pretty good, action packed thriller. I especially like how Christina feelings for Michael evolve over time with questioning over Stockholm Syndrome to just moral conflict over developing feelings for an assassin. Her trajectory feels authentic, especially for a girl still in her teens. In this book, I felt like it was part Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card meets Killing Sarai by JA Redmerski, both are two of my most favorite books so it's not a bad combo :)
review 2: I just love this series! Though it is light on sex and high on intrigue and mid-fucking it is still a favorite and I will be reading the next one for sure! Michael and Christina are growing... Together.. They are separated for most of this books and I was worried about that but ... morewhile they were separated they only had each other's best interests at the forefront of their minds and I think Christina especially needed that time away from Michael to realize her true feelings for him.. So that she's could appreciate him and his love.. In the beginning I almost wanted to slap her but then she got her shit together so I restrained! Haha though this did end on a cliffy it isn't going to keep me up at night but I will definitely read book 4 when it comes out.. Bring on the AMI!!! less
