review 1: Nick Malgieri is a legend, and his instructions have guided me through buche de noel and other seemingly complicated recipes, so I was ecstatic when this book came out. I haven't tried a single recipe that I didn't like or hasn't worked, and I appreciate some of his time-saving techniques (like a cake where he questions needing to separate the eggs, woohoo!). ... moret list. Introductory comments and instructions are in normal sized print. I've tried one recipe so far. The Chocolate Spice Bread was a big hit, mildly chocolate with a gingerbread like combination of spices. I'll definitely be trying more. less
