review 1: Rowen's in college in Seattle. Jesse tries to visit her every month. They're still cute together. But when he's finally there Rowens college life comes between them. And then there's of course our Alex. That's Rowens roommate, sge's totally different than Rowen, but she's a breath of fresh air. Jesse is glad that Rowen has someone that keeps her company while he isn't there. She comes back 'home' and as always, she has a great time there. Garth and Jesse are actually back to bein friends so there are some pretty funny moments because they still have some kind of love-hate relationship. Garth en Jesse had a bet. Garth wasn't allowed to curse for two weeks, Jesse couldn't have sex. "Are you calling me old and ugly." "Yes, and pussy-whipped.""I love you too, Black."I still lo... moreve how Jesse and Rowen are together. When they are with each other everything else doesn't matter."All that was left was Rowen, me, and that kiss."-JesseBut they couldn't have sex because of that stupid bet. Jesse has nightmares again and Rowen needs to tell him about the internship and when he comes to her in a hurry and sees one person in particular he goes BLANK."Small world, I had a son named Jesse. He was just as worthless as your Jesse, so I suppose we've got something in common."-MarBut then there a real breaking point. He needs to tell her about his past. What really happened before he was adopted by Rose and Neil. And let me tell you, it isn't a piece of cake he went through. "You have to save yourself, Rowen. I'm past point of saving now."-Jesse"I'm not pushing you away, Rowen. I just want you to leave."-JesseNicola Williams came with a terrefic ending! "I took a greyhound bus."-JesseThis book was worth 5 stars, I loved how we got to see Jesse's past and Rose's precious advice! The song I chose is 'Thousand Miles' by Vanessa Carlton! review 2: Black is a jerk. But he has redeemed himself. He can be a nice guy. Friends can be friends or enemies.... This book had some major turns I wasn't ready for but... it kept me reading and wow... amazing is all I can say. Some people have to conquer so much in life. I hate to see someone go through so much and then you feel as though you can't help the. Rowan and Jessie and been through hell and back and I am just glad they have such a strong love together! less
