review 1: This was a fun, steamy little read and I almost gave it 4 stars. I really did enjoy it. It's well written, had a number of laugh out loud moments, and a couple yummy scenes. But then I started thinking about everything it didn't have. At 109 pages it is admittedly a novella, not a novel. But it should still have a whole story, shouldn't it? This feels like someone took a larger space opera - about a honourable captain who encounters a nefarious plan to take over the galaxy involving telepathic freighter pilots (very reminiscent of Herbert's Spice Guild I thought), is rescued from his fate (sort of) by a notorious female pirate, saves the cosmos, clears his name, and falls in love - and then simply snipped out the romance bits for presentation here. 10 years pass between ch... moreapter one and two, then the rest of the book passes in less than a week. The fact that Zach is a tiger hybrid is irrelevant and only address ascetically. We never really know why or how he fell from grace. We're just told that he did. Don't get me wrong. I'm not trashing the book. I enjoyed the two hours it took me to read. I just would have really liked the rest of it too.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. I got it for free so I enjoyed it even more because of that. lolThe book was quite short and I would have loved it to be a bit longer. The bantering between the H and h was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed their interactions with each other. The story held my interest all the way through and left me wanting more. The sex scenes weren't that plentiful and it took awhile to get to the first one. It was ok but didn't really sizzle. All in all I would recommend this book. It was a good read. less

Another great idea but lacking in delivery. All happened a bit fast and was little development
Entertaining but pretty short, I would have liked more story but it was still an ok read.
an ok novella and a freebie. the heroine is not your typical good girl!
Dumb plot. Dumber characters. Awful writing.
