review 1: Oh Knightly you are just as hot and cold as Mr. Darcy!!! I absolutely LOVE Pride and Prejudice and was very excited to read a story that was a modem take on the classic story. I was a little nervous because sometimes re-telling are not written very well, but I LOVED this story!!Spring Honeycutt is a junior in college and studying Environmental Science and working on a thesis. When Spring’s professor tells her that he feels that she would be able to get published once her thesis was done, she was beyond excited. There was one catch, she needed to add the opposition within her paper. The only person around to help her understand the other side of her topic is Henry Knightley, her rich, arrogant neighbor. Ophelia London was able to take all the situations which happened in ... morePride and Prejudice and place a modern take on it to make each situation more believable.
review 2: Weeee! What a nice little find, especially since I'm a fan of slow-burning romances. Henry is super adorable, though he seems too good to be true. Spring was too much but she realized this and tempered it down later. Only complaint is the writing seemed a bit pretentious at times. Like it wants us to know that this is a smart book and our IQ better measure up. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book (despite this being super PG). less
