review 1: Thoroughly enjoyed this Star Trek-esque sci fi tale of a kids' battle school of the future. Clever interweaving of invented slang words, back story and believable characterisation. Listened to the audible version, which was excellent, much more of a dramatisation than a mere narrator putting on voices! Bit disconcerting that very girlie voices played some of the young guys' roles, and that Ender himself as a six year old had a very young adult voice. But it had such clever twists and turns that I couldn't wait to get back in the car to listen to more, and I found it quite unpredictable, which is what I look for. Good job all round!

... morees. It wasn't bad, and I did enjoy it. But Ender was way too mature-sounding for a child, and although the actual sound effects were good, the musical interludes were awkward and unnecessary. Also, the storyline felt a bit condensed and rushed. I hope nobody uses this as their first foray into Ender's Game! less

Yes, is isn't a book, it's an audio recording. But anyone who's a fan of the book will love this.
