review 1: Maybe it's because I'm growing up. Maybe it's because of the manga wannabe art. Maybe it's because I read Ender's Game first. I like scifi, I like anime, I enjoyed Laddertop. But even with all that on the table I couldn't get the bad taste out of my mouth after reading it. It's bizarre that a comic that has so many things that appeal to me be so bland. While it may seem weird, I am not without rebuttal, and I was let down for the very reasons I expected Laddertop to be good in the first place. The characters had their place and were probably where the comic shined best. The art, while looking a lot like Sailor Moon run through the Boring Machine is simple yet appealing. My bias might show a little bit here but the scifi art is what really sold it for me. However the story ... moreis what knocked off three whole stars from the book, it's Ender's Game. It's Ender Wiggin fighting the buggers and Orson Scott Card this book, is, Ender's Game. The competition, the choosing, the aliens, the society, the conflict, the school...THE BOOK...Is Ender's Game.
review 2: Have you ever wondered about going to space? Would you want to sign up to go to space at school?Have you ever wondered what it is really like in space? Well if you do then I think that you should read this book.This book is about a girl that gets to go to space.The books genre is science-fiction.My opinion about this book is that I thought that it was really good and interesting.This book takes place at school and also in space. Roberta Holtens is the main character of this book.Azure is Roberta's friend. Azure really wants to sign up to go in space but Roberta does not want to. So it is the day when the people that are in charge that who gets to go in space comes and announce the kids that get to go in space. All of a sudden they call Roberta up.Roberta got really mad because her mom said that she signed her up. Roberta thinks that if she goes to space that she wont come back.The conflict in this book is person vs. nature because Roberta gets bit by a bug which I am going to explain about.Roberta was taking a shower and drops her shampoo on the floor when she bends down to get the shampoo she grabs something that she thinks that it is a earing but she finds out that it is really a bug that bits her. The bug that bits here left a note on here hand that said something.Every time Roberata goes to sleep she always has some weird dreams.I was surprised when Roberta got bit by the metal bug and left a not behind.I wish that the book explained what the metal bug wrote on Roberta's arm.My favorite part of this book was when Roberta got bit by the metal bug.This book reminds me of a movie that I saw which was about a boy that got bit by a bug and also left a secret note behind and the boy spent a long time trying to figure out the the bug wrote on him.Roberta's friend Azure changed when Roberta got to go into space and she didn't. How Azure changed is she that she got mad and didn't want to be her friend.This reminds me of when I got a better grade on my spelling test and my friend didn't and she got really mad at me for no reason.I really enjoyed this book because I really like reading graphic novels and the book was really good.I would rate this book a 9 out of 10 because I thought that it was pretty good.I thought that it was a good book because I really enjoy books about space. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes graphic navels and also people that likes a book about space.Have you ever wondered about what is in space? less
