review 1: This book was fun, but I found my eye rolling at some of the stuff that Becca does throughout. I mean, who picks things up at the scene of a crime thinking it’s a good idea in the first place? And what was up with sneaking around on a ledge at the police station? If the latter was supposed to be funny, then I didn’t get it.I liked how Sam and Becca worked well together to solve the crime. If this is a potential Love Geometry situation I might have to put this series on the back burner for a while.
review 2: Fruit of All Evil is the second novel of the Farmers Market Mysteries by author Paige Shelton. When Becca Robbins isn’t selling her farm made jams and preserves at Baileys farmer’s market, she’s busy solving the murder of bank manager Madeline Fors
... moreyth, whose son Drew was engaged to marry Becca’s best friend Linda, the pie lady at Baileys. There are no shortage of suspects including Linda and Drew, his four slightly neurotic cousins, and a crew of secretive bank employees who are tight lipped about phony foreclosure letters showing up in the perplexed hands of farmers and business owners around the county. Becca finds herself in situations stickier than her jam: stranded on a window ledge at the police station, hiding behind bales of hay in a cow barn, wrangling loose chickens, and setting up a surprise wedding after her friends postpone their nuptials. Becca thought her biggest responsibility was agreeing to be Linda’s “Number One”, but rescuing herself and police officer Sam Brion from the killer’s clutches becomes her biggest task. This farm girl is full of energy, spunk and humor and is the best friend everyone wants to have around if they’ve been accused of murder. A fun heroine, a hilarious cast of Farmer’s Market patrons, and a few twists and turns make reading this book as guilty a pleasure as one of Mamma Maria’s cream pies. A delicious ending to every book, Paige Shelton includes several recipes of pies, cakes, and jams featured throughout the book. I can’t wait to try the chocolate strawberry preserves! less

An okay mystery, but not one of the best I've read. I found the solution to be a bit disappointing.
