review 1: Well this was all over the place in the middle, or maybe because its been a long while since I last read the first book in the series. Still its nice to see the characters in graphic novel form. Reminds me how much I love the couple of Adam and Mercy, and the maybe ship of Stefan and Mercy, but still like the canon ship. And might read more graphic novels based on book series, like the ones shown at the end of this which were Dresden Files and Grave Sight.
review 2: The continued finale of the comic adaptation to the novel. While again I loved the artwork, there were some parts missing. Where introducing the side characters could have been more detailed (like with Warren, Zee, Gerry, David Christiansen, John-Julian, Shawn, etc.). The readers would not know thes... moree characters unless properly introduced in this visual storytelling, or have read the the original novel (which I did). I also was irked to see some side notes edited out. Such novel scenes as the introduction of Warren (with his knightly actions in helping at the gas station), his boyfriend (who learns from Mercy about his wolfish secret), David Christiansen and his sons' details (along with his help revealing the werewolf scene to the world), etc. I felt like first-time readers to this series would be stuck on the fact that some of the characters just kinda float into the pictures (without those helpful details). So I hope if they do more volumes of the Mercy comic series they go over some more of the details, or at least have character bios in there. less
