review 1: This book is just as good as the first one. It tells the story about sworn enemies finding each other and healing their hearts with forgiveness and love. I loved Tristan. He was supposed to be a rogue but he was the sweetest sexiest highlander. It was funny, touching and sexy. The relationship and the build up was definitely a seduction. Also, by now I like the narrator better. Some male characters sound drunk and old but not too bothersome. Highly recommended!

It is full of all the things I love in a good romance: a very alpha male and a heroine who knows how and does stand up to him, humor, romance, and hot steamy sex.What I have come to love about Paula's books(the one's I have read so far) is that you get ... morea really get into plot, before they ever have sex, so the reader is anticipating the love scene as much as the hero and heroine. What I loved about this book in particular is that she did something that I have never saw done before(not saying that it hasn't been done), and that's show how an action that a hero committed affected others. I have never seen what happened to the hero's enemy's family.(Does that make sense?)Every time I read one of her books that one becomes my favorite, until I read another. I am hooked right from the first words and she holds me the entire time. I find myself with a dumb grin on my face, laughing out loud, and then fanning to cool off. Isabella is Tristan's perfect mate and it was a joy to see the journey that they took in realizing this love.Until the next time.... less
