review 1: This probably won't make much sense if you haven't read the first book. This was not bad, but it didn't seem as well written as the previous story. Chuck and Bobbi have recovered from Chuck's affair, again they are back in a place where life seems blessed. When they least expect it - Tracy makes a comeback in quite a dramatic fashion and Bobbi and Chuck have to hope their faith will get them through.
review 2: I received this excellent book from Goodreads First Reads. Although I didn't read the first book, the story jumped right off, captured my attention, and I devoured it. The characters were believable, even knowable it seemed. I felt the way the wife felt through most of the novel. A very gripping and heartwrenching story! A sad ending, but all worked out i... moren the end. I cannot wait to read more of Paula's works...!!! less
