review 1: Only 3 stars. I truly tried to enjoy the last book of the love story, but Robin was no longer the loving Robin, I didn't like her character is this book, smoking weed, drinking, because a break up. Hey, I understand what we go through as Woman when you get your heart break. But what she did was deteriorating herself; again I understand that he was her first. I just was not feeling the final book of this series. Still a Fan of the author.
review 2: I have given this book 3 stars as opposed the the five starts i gave book one and two. This is very much a quick skip through their lives with far to much telling and not enough showing. By the time you reach the end of book two it would be impossible not to imediately start book three. However, I truely think th
... moreat she should not have split books two and three up.We are informed at the preface that she wrote the piece as one whole but thought that it was too long to release as one book. However I find this a bit condisending to the reader that books are chosen for their size and not potential content. I would be more inclined to think that Ms Pace wanted to triple her income. The story is ok but not at all up to the standard of the first two books. It tries to explain a four year gap which feels a little forces as what has been acheived in those four months would more realistically be a year. Robin's character has pretty much lost all of its appeal from the first two books. Although that could be explained away by her experiences, I don't think that shyness and social awkwardness would be swept away quite so dramatically. As I said above, it would be impossible to finish book two and now reach out for the last. It isn't very long so it can be forgiven some of its faults. I am not really left feeling like i want more from Robin and Jason. This disappoints me but hey ho. The spelling gets worse as the book nears the end, some of it not too bad but soon jar you out of the narative as they are so obvious.I will definetly rank Pepper Pace as one of my favourie authors who writes fantastic stories. I think this one is just a little blimp in a very promising career less
