review 1: Things just keep getting worse for these two brothers...although Dougie is getting slightly better treatment than Mat.....Dougie has to endure sensory deprivation and I can only imagine the horror he went through whilst travelling to his new master....Mat didn't get much better treatment...These boys are going through hell and I'm being dragged along with them......Nikolai seems to think that just because Mat is gay should make it easier.....mmmm don't think so...It's still rape...poor Dougie being straight is finding it hard to learn how to "pleasure" a guy, well he has been treated to repeated rapes and abuse....These poor brothers are not out of the woods yet x
review 2: OK.....these books are extremely extremely read with caution for those people who are n... moreot into rape and incest. So FOR THOSE I say ********* READ WITH CAUTION************I really found these books very consuming and it hooked me right away. The love that these two brothers have for each other a devotion you don't see very often now days. I hurt with these two. To know that there are people in this world who could be so heartless. I want to slap and hit these people and defend these two and see justice all in the same breath!!! These are very fast short reads and find myself not able to put them down. I have read till book five and maybe will wait till the series is done. It is getting a lil pricey. We will see. Good writing by the author. The complexity of all the characters is not an easy feat. It is not rushed and I even find myself holding my breath!! Will definitely continue on. less
