review 1: Can I just say that the Poseur series totally rocks my socks off and I am totally dissapointed that the books aren't continuing after the fourth one? This book especially was great and packed with gut busting humor. Seriously, the engagement party mishap had me laughing so hard I had to take breaks between reading the book in fear that I would die of suffocation. The author of this book made everything so quirky and fun to read. Not to mention totally random. Retired Russian gangsters? A teacher whose visa is on the verge of expiring who falls in love at first sight with a rapper who can busts rhymes that are seoul-ful and packed with a korean punch but is sadly engaged to a "Ho-bag"? (Read the book to get the references! And these are just the side characters! I don't kno... morew how the author was able to come up with such beautifully original and random characters. It takes a unique mind to come up with such unique characters and I really wish she would continue on with the series because they are so delightfully addicting!
review 2: ok, so the main culprit behind the POSEUR tag thing has finally been found out. though, it wasnt really clear how, and why that person did it. also, what happened to paul and petra - and janie - wasnt mentioned in the book. and what happened to jake? why did Charlotte do THAT to jules? and what would happen to the three now? what about miss paletsky and seedy moon? and janie and evan? what are they now, considering they already did THAT. and, come ON, will there even be a progress to marco and melissa's relationship??..to put things in simplicity, this third book from the POSEUR series had left me asking these many questions without even answering them.. AND I LIKE THAT. that just means that in order to know the answers, i need to grab a copy of the fourth installment.. which, well, i already did.. and i'm about to read it right now.. :)) less
