review 1: In my Opinon Dork Diaries (Tales from a Not-So-Talented Pop star)is a great book because the characters make me feel like I'm there, and make me feel what THEY are feeling. I can prove that they make me feel like I'm there, and make me feel what there feeling in the text, because it say's "Every time in class the teacher's give our back our test or(Quiz) they just slam it on our desk like NOTHING, like what is that?!" Nikki said in her head. I always feel like that some times when the teachers feel a little grumpy. I back up the text and why I backed it up, and know..to talk about the author! Well the author Rachel Renee Russell is my favorite author because she gives a lot details like When?, Where?, and Why?. the character Nikki is a great character. Well that's all for ... moreknow, bye.
review 2: First of all, being ashamed of who you really are and who and what your parents are is not cute -- at all. And since this is a dorky book, not meant for adults to be fully entertained... I'll give this a 3.5! The book is consistent, it felt like I am inside a typical and funny 12 year old girl. I finished this in one sitting while waiting for my doctor to call my name, it took quite a while that I can almost feel my hair turning gray. And thank god, I am reading this on my ebook. No one's gonna judge, except you. (Yeah. It's okay.) It's almost a good read, until she kept uttering this (Inside her mind, so you know... No one can hear her, but her.) “But I just said that inside my head, so no one else heard it but me.”She has to say this over and over again, incase the kids who are actually reading this forget that she is talking to herself, almost the entire time. But it's fine, nonetheless -- this is a funny read. less
