review 1: Big Rabbit's Bad Mood is a creative book about a rabbit who has a bad mood that just won't go away. I really enjoy how Badescu personified the bad mood. It was physically always there. No matter what Big Rabbit did, call friends and family, watch tv, or listen to the radio, the bad mood is always there. Finally, Big Rabbit found something to get his mind off of his bad mood. Young children will love watching all of the things the bad mood does. I could really see counselors using this book to help students learn some of different ways of coping with bad moods. It could also help students learn that sometimes you have to keep trying to figure out how to make yourself feel better. You don't just try one thing and give up. The pictures in this book are very simple, but I love... more the way the bad mood looks. I think in class it would be fun to have students draw what they think a bad mood looks like. It would be interesting to see how alike or how different they would all be. I feel the pictures carry the story because you get to actually see how the bad mood is interfering with Big Rabbit's life.
review 2: This is about a rabbit who was in a bad mood and his friend squirrel did not want to tell him about the funny stories he knew. Rabbit turned on the tv to cheer himself up but the news was all bad. He turn on some soft music but that made his mood worse. Finally he deciced to do something with himself. He was so busy he did not hear the knock at the door which were his friends and his mother with a cake made out of pancakes because it was his birthday. He got presents and forgot his bad mood. less
