Podkin is the heir to Munbry Warren and he is lazy, very lazy. Podkin doesn’t want anything to do with fighting or being a chief and he still has two ears… for now.

Podkin lives a simple life and doesn’t care about anything except beating his sister Paz, who pretty much beats him at everything. Then comes Scramashank.
Scramashank is King of the Gorm, a group of rodents covered from head to toe in iron armour (poisonous to the Goddess) and wearing a belt of skulls. The Gorm, if you don’t know already, used to be an old rabbit tale for sending bunnies to sleep but actually they came to your warren and killed everyone and took everything.
Starclaw, the magic dagger, can cut through anything. (Pretty cool right?… easy to kill the Gorm right?) Wrong! Because Starclaw can cut through anything except iron. Useless. Or is it?

I like this book because it is full of magic, adventure and one mission… STOP THE GORM !
You might like to read this book if you think you will never be a leader, Podkin didn’t think he could do it either but he turned out to be one of the most successful leaders ever.
The book is about believing you can do anything even when you and others might think you can’t. Just look at Podkin!
