This song was written by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin. It was first recorded by Gertrude Lawrence in 1927. Mary Hopkin recorded her version in 1968. The recording featured George Martin on piano. It was arranged and produced by Paul McCartney. Someone to Watch Over Me was released on Mary Hopkin’s 1969 album Post Card.
