I will keep this short and sweet because I don’t want to spoil anything.
This is one of the better second books I’ve read. It didn’t feel like a filler, it felt like an actual step in the story, and I enjoyed it.
We see Amy still living on the ship, but things are different from the first book for her. Trust is lost among everyone as secrets were revealed and no one knows what is actually happening anymore.
We see Elder in a different role and he isn’t sure how to handle it.
Again, wonderful writing, wonderful world. It was a little predictable but sometimes predictability is a good thing. If it ended differently, I would have been a little pissed off.
All in all, really enjoying this series. And I haven’t read a series so fast in a while.
