All Fall Down (Embassy Row #1) by Ally Carter
Rating: 2/5 stars
My Thoughts:
The whole book was only 300 pages but I thought it was much more due to how slow it was. I just wasn’t that interested in what was going on and it didn’t seem like much was even going on.
While I loved the setting and how interesting I found the whole embassy row to be, the majority of the book was just a girl suffering from PTSD doing some dangerous things (following the man who she believes killed her mother into dark alleys and tunnels) and accidentally getting in trouble.
Another thing I did like though was most of the characters! I wanted so much more Alexi than we were getting, and I wanted more friendship time with the rest of Grace’s friends. Please have some more awesome protective russian guy in the sequels, I beg of you.
This book was overall much darker and not as fun as the Gallagher Girls and Heist Society series. I’m disappointed but as this book seemed much like a prequel anyway, I’m sure the rest of the series will be live up to expectations. Hopefully.
