I mentioned in one of my previous blogs that I was looking forward to reading Ally Condie’s dystopian novel, Atlantia. I’ve just read it and decided to give a review on what I think of it.
How Clean Is It?
This book is extremely clean, with only a few small kisses here and there. There were zero language problems, so that was nice.
Is It Interesting?
I found that the idea of it was really cool, but how Ally Condie wrote the book seemed rather slow. There isn’t a ton of fast paced action, which was disappointing. But if you’re a die hard Ally Condie fan, I’d say you should go out and get this book.
Is It the Right Age Level?
With no language or sexual scenes, this is great for anyone from 12 on up. And though I didn’t find it to be fast enough paced, I still found it was interesting; so if you have time on your hands, then I’d say go ahead and check it out. I read it over the course of a couple weeks, and it was nice to know it was sitting there waiting for me.
Now that I’ve given you my thoughts on this novel, go out and get the book. If it’s not the one for you, then I’d say skip the book this time and just get the coffee!
