Clybourne Park is the name of a play running at the Warehouse Theatre in Greenville. It’s a play about gentrification: old places becoming new, memories clashing with vision, and so on. This is not a review of Clybourne Park. That’s not what I do. What I do is make paintings of old places and old stuff that might have an air of nostalgia about them or maybe just need a good revamping. The Warehouse Theatre thought some of the things I’ve done would go well in their lobby during the run of Clybourne Park. All this to say, I’ve got a little show in the lobby of the theater through October 8. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by.
