review 1: After reading the first book , I definitely had some big expectations for this book and they exceeded my expectations. This book is a page turner, you never want to put it down. What I like about this is that there is always something that's keeping you on your toes. there's never a time where it gets boring and you're not wondering if someone is going to die or not. Some people might put this book down because of the size of the books and for the reason that the series is quite long. But it is a page turning book , and I guaranty that you will fly through it.
review 2: I thought this book was a great new swing on current over zealous vampires in media today. I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of hearing about glistening, sparkling, jewel like skin... more when it hits the sun. And also perfect, chiseled chests and love battles. Of course, the twilight books, and I mean BOOKS, were well written, and beautifully materialized, they got a little, obnoxious after the first few books. I've read the entire Thirst series, and whatever you expect to happen, nine times out of ten, never happens. With other fictional vampires stories, you know and expect what will happen. You knew Bella would choose Edward. You knew they'd get married, and shed get knocked up, and have a genetically enhanced kid. It's a gimmie! But with Thirst, you didn't expect for alot of things to happen. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I'm trying to keep it general. Sorry. All I know is, the Thirst plot lines are exquisite and they are by far, one of the fictional books, I've read. less
