Hi- I haven’t written on here in a while. Winter Break just ended with my school and I tried spending as much time as I could with family and friends I haven’t seen in a while, all while trying to work part-time. I’ve had time to reflect on my blog and I am considering making it more personal and not restricted to one specific topic, rather, write about my life, stories, things I’ve learned, life lessons, positive change and places I’ve traveled while still keeping the concert theme around as they are a major part of my life.
Now, here are four concerts I’m looking forward to in 2018!
1. Harry Styles- June 12, 2018
This man has my whole heart. I bought these tickets last year and I have since been counting down the days to his Nashville show. His self-titled album has been my topped played album for months now. It is written beautifully and his vocals are incredible. I know his show is going to be spectacular. Every song never gets old and gives me chills every time. One show won’t be enough but I know it’ll be musically powerful and emotional for me since his album has really spoken to me from day 1. His concerts seem so safe, emotional and the crowds look like a lot of fun.
2. Niall Horan- July 23, 2018
I technically haven’t bought tickets for this one yet but I am going to use my Christmas money on it. This one is General Admission for the lawn so I’m excited to go to a GA show again its been so long. I also am considering buying soundcheck so if I get to go I will be extra excited (maybe he’ll answer one of my questions who knows?). It’ll be refreshing to hear his album again live, even with Maren Morris which will be extra fun. Also, the show is on One Direction’s anniversary which is a lot more emotional. I can’t wait for a summer night out with friends enjoying some empowering music!
3. Louis Tomlinson
He hasn’t announced dates yet but I have this feeling it will be soon, and I have saved all my money to go to at least two of his shows. He is one of my favorite singers right now and to see him live again would be absolutely incredible! His songs are perfect party songs and I am most excited to sing the lyrics super loud and dance my heart out. I’m aiming for front and center at this show and will do whatever it takes to get there.
4. Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled- March 28, 2018
My sister kindly offered me her spare floor ticket for a discounted price for her Nashville show! I haven’t made up my mind, but Demi’s new album is absolutely amazing and it would be so fun to go. It’s over my spring break too which would make it more memorable for the week I want to stay in Nashville. Demi as a person is so inspiring and it would be so fun to see her again- this time for an actual headling tour. Hopefully, I get to go and listen to some amazing live music in one of my favorite arenas!
Maybe I’ll be able to add to this list (who knows) but all I know is 2018 will be an exciting year!
