Consumed

Today sweetness in sugar was lost

I licked, crushed and grinded it to every bit out of bit

nowhere close to sweet

Fantasies  that were born and those in heart lay buried deep, to be found nowhere

The powers attained and burns sustained, no mercy on this heart.

sailed thousands miles only to see the charming blue

all today I think of is depth underneath

passing by a river thought of an ocean, when sailed the ocean never gave a thought

scratching the stones with nails, wisdom lost

Caged, sunshine lost.
