review 1: Some real pros:-protagonist is a brave young girl named Emily. :)-themes of courage, loyalty, self-control.-awesome artI liked book 2 better than book 1, and look forward to how this saga continues to unfold. I really hope Emily and Leon don't end up together or something bizarro like that. I hope it will continue to focus on the quest!Wonder if Navin's role will expand. And if Mom will join in the fight against the evil elves...
review 2: This series is really great, I can see how kids are drawn to these books. The story has enough danger, and adventure to keep you reading. Though I am not really in love with the drawing style I do love this story and how the two mediums work together. I can't wait to read this whole series but I wouldn't want to pay full pric... moree for them. These graphic novels will never be enough for me. I can read this in under an hour and honestly I need more. less
