Gingerbread Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen #13.5)

Alright, so there is 2 stories in this book similar to book 9.5. I still have not read the Jaine Austen series so I will only be reviewing the first 1/2 if the book… and when I say the 1st half I mean like the first 100 pgs.

The Christmas season has gotten very loud in Hannah’s condo as soon as Ernie Kusak moved in. After many complaints, Mike and Hannah head to Ernie’s condo to turn off the music. However, when Mike goes to restore the power, Hannah finds Ernie dead in his kitchen. Now she has to find the killer during the busy Christmas season.

This book was a fun little short for this series. Delores plays a crucial role in solving the murder. I am enjoying how much Delores has grown in this series. At the begin, I found her quite annoying but now I quite enjoy her. This mystery was quite simple, but you can’t really expect anything difficult for such a short story. Norman and Mike don’t really make much of an appearance in this book, but it didn’t hurt the story at all. I enjoy these little stories that get added to the story.

Devil’s Food Cake Murder (Hannah Swensen #14)
Apple Turnover Murder (Hannah Swensen #13)
